There are several ways to protect your ears while shooting but most are bulky and interfere with your firing position or they won't let you hear the sounds you do need to hear.
Defenders utilise a sophisticated electronic compression system that automatically senses and cuts off noise - like gunfire - before it damages your hearing.
While blocking out harmful noise Defenders also amplify the quieter, essential sounds you want to hear. The built-in volume control lets you adjust the amplification to your listening needs. Enjoy better-than-normal hearing, free from the destructive effects of loud sounds.

Defenders are custom-moulded to fit entirely within the exact shape of your ears. They have a soft tip to the inner shell making them extremely comfortable to wear, and convenient - without interfering with firing positions, movements or other activities.
With such a precise fit, Defenders yield a NRR suppression of 26 without even switching them on! Once active the electronic suppression system delivers a protective maximum sound pressure level of 90 dB. Better protection than many other hearing protection devices without sacrificing your ability to hear! |
